Colonel (Retd.) Quazi Nooruzzaman was a retired Army officer in the liberation war of march 1971. On 25 March brutal killing of Pakistani forces, specially the Bengali EPR members and their families to carry out indiscriminate attacks on members of the families of the EPR makes offended him cry. Seeing the brutal scene, Major (Retd.) Quazi Nooruzzaman consulting with his family he decided to take up arms against the invaders again. Sending his family in a village named Gandhina in Mymensingh district; he joined with Colonel Shafiullah’s Battalion. Keeping Nooruzzaman with him war commander Colonel M. A. G.
